Watch the repricer in action
An illustrative example of the kinds of decisions SellerVault makes across your catalog.
Rule-based repricing with hard margin floors
Every price change follows rules you configure — min and max boundaries, floor-price modes (fixed, ROI %, margin %, breakeven, % above COGS), and fee-inclusion toggles. SellerVault will never drop below the floor you set, no matter what the competition does.
- Fixed, ROI %, margin %, breakeven, and % above COGS floor modes
- Max price modes: fixed, % above min, MAP, or MSRP
- Per-SKU or bulk rule application across 30K+ catalog
- Fee inclusion toggles: referral, FBA, storage, inbound, prep, PPC
Strategic pricing modes tuned for the Buy Box
Six intelligent pricing modes let you match, undercut, or hold above the Buy Box price based on your strategy. Each mode factors in fulfillment channel, seller feedback rating, and Buy Box probability to make smarter decisions than a simple "match lowest price" rule.
- Match Buy Box, undercut by cents, or hold premium
- Buy Box probability modeling based on historical data
- FBA vs FBM-aware competitive responses
- Competitor profiling (ignore low-rated or dropshipper sellers)
TACoS-aware repricing
SellerVault factors your ad spend pressure into pricing decisions. If a SKU is carrying high TACoS, the repricer protects margin harder. If ad spend is low and inventory is healthy, it can price more aggressively to win velocity.
- TACoS context pulled directly from your advertising account
- Campaign-aware price adjustments (protect margin on spend-heavy SKUs)
- Profitability-first optimization — not just Buy Box chasing
- Prevents the classic "race to the bottom" that kills margin
Velocity-based and scheduled repricing
Adjust prices based on how fast inventory is moving. Slow mover? Drop price slightly to accelerate velocity. Fast mover? Raise price to improve margin. You can also schedule price changes ahead of Prime Day, Black Friday, or end-of-quarter clearances.
- Sales velocity feedback loop from live order data
- Scheduled repricing for sales events (Q4, Prime Day, BFCM)
- Inventory-level-aware (raise prices on low-stock to slow velocity)
- Automatic de-escalation when competitor leaves the market
Full audit trail with reason codes
Every price change is logged with a reason code, timestamp, trigger event, and the rule that fired. When something looks wrong, you can trace it in seconds. The audit trail is how we diagnose and contain unexpected pricing behavior before it causes real losses.
- Full change history with Amazon submission status tracking
- Reason codes for every decision (rule fired, safety-net abort, etc.)
- Per-SKU repricing analytics and performance reporting
- Operational visibility into what the repricer is doing and why
Safety guardrails that actually work
Anti-oscillation protection stops repricing zig-zags, a velocity circuit breaker trips at 10x normal submission rates, and a safety net prevents price movements that would violate your margin floor. These guardrails exist because, without them, repricing loops cause real losses.
- Anti-oscillation guard prevents narrow-band zig-zagging
- Velocity circuit breaker at 10x baseline submission rate
- Divide-by-zero safety net on malformed cost data
- Storm detection audit fires within 5 minutes of abnormal churn
Frequently asked questions
What is Amazon repricing software and do I need it?
Amazon repricing software is a tool that automatically adjusts your product prices based on rules you define. If you sell more than 10-20 SKUs or compete for the Buy Box against multiple sellers, manual repricing is essentially impossible — the Buy Box rotates every few minutes and competitors change prices hundreds of times per day. An automated repricer is table stakes for any serious FBA business. SellerVault includes repricing in plans starting at $79/month.
How is SellerVault's Amazon repricer different from Bqool, Informed.co, or RepricerExpress?
Three differences: (1) TACoS-aware pricing — we factor your advertising spend into price decisions. (2) Anti-oscillation and circuit-breaker safety guardrails — designed to contain runaway loops from algorithmic repricing on inactive or distressed listings. (3) All-in-one pricing — you get repricing bundled with inventory management, reimbursements, and analytics for less than most sellers pay for a standalone repricer.
Can I set a minimum price so my repricer never goes below my cost?
Yes. Every SKU has a hard floor price with five configurable modes: fixed dollar amount, ROI % target, margin % target, breakeven, or % above COGS. You can also choose which fees to include in the breakeven calculation (referral fee, FBA fee, storage, inbound, prep, and PPC allocation). The repricer will never submit a price below the floor, even if it means losing the Buy Box. This is enforced at the database level with a hard constraint.
How fast does SellerVault react to competitor price changes?
SellerVault polls the SP-API on a 5-minute cycle for active repricing SKUs. When a competitor move triggers one of your rules, the new price is submitted to Amazon within 10-15 seconds. Amazon typically reflects the change within 30-60 seconds. For a full round-trip from "competitor changed price" to "your price is live on Amazon", expect 3-6 minutes in the worst case. The repricer also receives push notifications for Buy Box changes on supported marketplaces.
Will I get the Buy Box more often if I use SellerVault?
Almost certainly yes if you're currently repricing manually or using a simple "match lowest price" tool. Buy Box allocation depends on price competitiveness, fulfillment channel, seller feedback, and inventory health. SellerVault factors all four into its Buy Box probability model. We regularly see new customers double their Buy Box win rate within 2 weeks of activating repricing. That said, if you're already using a sophisticated repricer like Informed.co, the lift will be smaller — the bigger wins come from the margin protection side, not raw Buy Box share.
Does the repricer work for FBM (merchant-fulfilled) sellers?
Yes. SellerVault handles both FBA and FBM repricing and can treat them as separate competitive pools. If you're selling both FBA and FBM on the same ASIN, you can configure independent rules for each fulfillment channel. The Buy Box probability model accounts for the fact that FBA offers get a significant boost in the Buy Box algorithm.
What happens if Amazon rejects a price submission?
SellerVault tracks every submission and its Amazon response. If a submission fails (invalid price, listing suppressed, etc.), we log the error, mark the SKU as "needs attention", and hold further submissions on that SKU until you review. You can see rejected submissions in the Repricing Dashboard with the exact Amazon error message and a suggested fix.
Is there a free trial for the Amazon repricer?
Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial you can connect your Amazon account, configure rules, and run the repricer on a subset of SKUs to validate it against your expectations before activating it catalog-wide.
